SheRides - women who love to ride motorcycles.

It started with a friend who introduced me to a small motorcycle in her cousin's front driveway. We were kids with a mission, just stay on and don't wipe out. I still remember the thrill of revving the engine, popping the clutch, the absolute pleasure of controlling this machine which could take me anywhere I wanted to go. Today the driveway, tomorrow the open road and glorious countryside. Alas, my ride was cut short by the ditch at the end of the driveway - guess I should have learned how to use the brakes first!

Here we are many years later and my friend and I are riding those open roads we always dreamed about.
